Privacy
Updated 2 October 2026.
The Mind Of Solomon runs themindofsolomon.com and the games on it. This page is the notice for Canada (including Ontario, under the federal private-sector privacy law), California, and the EU and UK. It describes the site as it works today. It is not a claim that a lawyer has certified it.
Who to contact
For a privacy request, use the contact form and start the message with "Privacy". You can ask for a copy of your account data, a correction, or deletion. You can also export or delete an account from Account settings. In Canada you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. In the EU or UK you may complain to your local data protection authority.
What we collect
An account can hold a display name, an email address, a password hash, a picture, game sessions, scores, XP, and favorites. The picture is one you pick from the preset set on Account, or the picture Discord or Google sends when you use those sign-ins. The site does not accept uploaded photos. Leaderboards can show the display name and a score. They do not show the email address or the picture. Your header and profile show the picture, and your profile shows your playtime, your scores, and the public all-time leader. A signed-in session uses an httpOnly cookie named tmos_session. The light and dark switch stores a theme choice in this browser only.
The contact form stores the name, email, and message you send so we can read it. A password reset sends a link through our email provider.
Optional notes about the experience start only after you choose OK. Until then, nothing extra is stored for that, and play is not sent off the site. If you say OK, the browser stores a random id in a cookie and in local storage. That id is not your email and not your account. We then receive the page address, when you leave a page, device and browser details, the site that linked you here, web vitals (load and responsiveness numbers), your IP address, and the rough location it points to, such as the city. The server also sends game starts, finished runs, sign-ins, new accounts, and favorites: the game, whether you are a guest, and a saved score. Email addresses are not included. We do not record your screen, clicks inside a game, heatmaps, or console logs.
Why
Account data and scores exist so the game can save your progress. That is the service you asked for. Rate limits and the session cookie exist to keep the site from being abused. The contact form exists so we can reply. The optional notes exist only to understand the experience, and only if you agree. You can play without them.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context advertising. If you say OK, PostHog, Inc. processes those notes in the United States, including the IP address stored with them. Account data stays on the server that hosts this site. A password-reset email goes through our mail provider. Saying no thanks does not affect saving a score.
How long
Account data stays until you delete the account. Deleting an account anonymizes the public name and removes the login and personal fields. Contact messages stay so we can handle the note. Experience notes stay in PostHog until that project data is deleted. Because those notes are not tied to your email, we may not be able to find one browser's older ones. You can stop new notes at any time on this page.
Your choices
Checking this browser.
California residents can ask to know, correct, or delete personal information. We will not discriminate against you for asking. We do not sell or share personal information as those words are used in the California privacy law.
If the EU or UK GDPR applies, the controller is The Mind Of Solomon. The legal basis for those optional notes is consent. The legal basis for an account and saved games is the service you asked us to provide. The legal basis for security limits is our interest in keeping the site up. You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, and a copy of the account export, and you can take back that choice without losing the game.
Age
The games are for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you are a parent and believe we have, use the contact form and start the message with "Privacy". We will delete what we can find. This site does not use a parent verification system.
Cookies
tmos_session is required to stay signed in. tmos_analytics stores only whether you said OK or no thanks. The PostHog cookie and local storage exist only after you say OK. The theme key exists only so the light and dark switch remembers your choice.
